A Good Night's Sleep

Approximately 18 million Americans suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea. This common but often undiagnosed condition causes a person to stop breathing repeatedly during sleep, preventing the body from getting enough oxygen.

A sleep study, which monitors, measures, and records information about how the body functions during sleep, helps determine the best course of treatment. The most common methods, CPAP and BiPAP therapy, provide pressure to keep the airway open during sleep. Treatment can help stop snoring, restore restful sleep, and reduce the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, heart attack, stroke, and vehicle or work accidents.

North Canton Medical Foundation offers sleep medicine and respiratory care. Our therapist fits, explains, and demonstrates equipment as well as answers questions, provides regular follow-up, and coordinates future supply orders as needed.

To learn more about sleep medicine, respiratory care, or the variety of other medical supplies we offer, please contact our respiratory therapist at 330-433-1371.
